The IBC adapter fits IBC of all brands with connecting thread S60x6 male thread coarse thread. He also fits the brands Mauser (SM series, formerly Mamor) and Sotralentz also directly on the inner container.
- The adapter is made of stainless steel (V4A / 316 - 1.4404)
- Thus, it is suitable for most alkalis and acids that the market produces
This IBC adapter was specially made for the IBC cock on the IBC container,
to connect the container with other connections such as couplings, hoses, pumps, etc.
IBCs are used in industry as transport containers to ship chemicals.
The IBC is also used in the garden as a rainwater tank or water storage.

Stainless steel:
Basically, stainless steels are suitable for use in the food or drinking water industry (e.g., in beverage filling machines). The choice of material is based on the degree of corrosive stress in the immediate environment, so it has to be redefined on a case-by-case basis.
An elementary treatise on the use of stainless steel in the food industry can be found in the "Technik-Info Gkü-Te-002 of the HKi", in the "EU-Regulation 1935/2004" and in the "EU-Guidelines on metals, alloys used as food contact materials (09.03.2001). "This shows that all austenitic stainless steels without addition of sulfur (eg 1.4301, 1.4307.1.4401, 1.4404 or 1.4408) are suitable and approved for food depending on the degree of corrosive stress. Martensite and Ferrites are conditionally approved.
Seals and hose:
Only with approval (FDA) "Food and Drug"
Guidelines (FDA) 21 CRF Part 177.2600 / 177.1550 "Rubber Articles intended for repeated use"
comply with the safe for human health according to EC Regulation 1935/2004.
